Coleman is Lancashire-born. She attended Arnold School Blackpool, where she scored straight A's for A-levels. Coleman regrets not having receive a standard college education in her discussion of her Emmerdale experience. Coleman was as Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival as part of a group called In Yer Space, which she performed in when she was in high school. The show was awarded a prize to her for the performance, while the play itself received a favorable reception. Coleman was chosen for the Emmerdale character Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with drama schools. Coleman was nominated twice for awards in 2007. She was nominated for two awards. British Soap Awards nominated her for the title of best newcomer. In the National Television Awards, she was nominated as the as the most popular newcomer. In 2009, the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated her in both category of Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman was awarded a Television Choice Award nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman was the replacement for Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor following Arthur Darvill left the series, would be playing the role with Matt Smith. Moffat chose her due to her ability to work with Smith as well as the fact that she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has participated in TV and film projects. Eva has been more prominent on TV than films. Eva's roles in TV series"Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami stand out. The actress was nominated 2 "Daytime Emmys" in the role she played, and she also had an opportunity to explore her artistic talents. Eva isn't just an actress, she is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. She was married three times and is the mother of a child from her first husband.
