Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She advocates the rights of animals. Her name is well-known for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). Born and raised in an artistic family living in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of arts. Beginning she was employed as an assistant to photographers. Later on she shifted her focus to modeling and directing. The actress was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was an aspiring young actor. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. Within three years she had been voted as the top female box office participant in the entire world. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other films she has appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw got married to three different people.
